Western Odisha Witnesses 12-Hr Maha-Bandh By Lawyers

Several districts in Western Odisha will be observing the Maha-Bandh held by the lawyers today.

Normal life is expected to come to a standstill as the Band will be held from dawn to dusk.

The protest is over the demand of permanent bench of Orissa High Court in Western Odisha.

All government offices, educational institutions, businesses establishments will remain closed but hospitals and dispensaries will be open.

This has affected the general commuters as well as rail. The agitators have protested to stop rail communication in Sambalpur as a part of the protest.

Lending support, members of several political parties and voluntary organisations have also come forward in the protest.
