Suman Sharma died of Brain Hemorrhage, Family moves OHRC

The postmortem report conducted on Suman Sharma, who died inside her car during the NH 5 blockade by Vani Vihar students last week, has confirmed that she died of brain hemorrhage and excessive bleeding inside head.

DCP Satyabrata Bhoi announced this and said probe is going on to determine what caused the hemorrhage. The students, who were protesting against the cancellation of student union polls in the varsity, had rushed towards her car, triggering the panic in her mind.

Family members of Suman Sharma, who was working as a Teacher in a private institute, had alleged that the brain hemorrhage occurred, as the students frightened her. They have moved the State Human Rights Commission, seeking justice.

The Odisha Human Rights Commission has admitted their plea and asked the Bhubaneswar DCP to submit a report on this matter within 4 weeks.
