Scarcity Of Doctors To Come Under Check More Medical Colleges To Come Up

The scarcity of doctors has increased in the state with the doctors migrating out of the state in a lookout for opportunities.

In a bid to retain doctors, the Odisha Government will soon launch a new health policy in the state, informed Health and Family Welfare Minister Naba Kishore Das here yesterday.

New medical colleges will be launched in the State soon to produce more doctors.

As per a report new medical colleges are in the pipeline at Talcher, Puri and Sundergarh in the coming days.

To bring a check soon, the appointment process has begun.
