Odisha’s Jayanti Behera bags Silver in 400 M Asian Para Games 2018

ONI Bureau:  Odia sprinter Jayanti Behera has brought laurels to the State and Nation by her excellent performance at the ongoing Asian Para Games 2018 at Jakarta in Indonesia.

Ace para athlete, Jayanti Behera bagged silver medal in the women 400mtr by clocking in 59.71 seconds  in the Asian Para Games at Jakarta.

Earlier Jayanti clinched bronze medal in the 200-metre sprint event in Asian Para Games 2018 by clocking in 27.45 seconds.

Born in Puri’s Sakhigopal in 1999, Behera is a Track and Field Athlete who represents India in the women’s 200m, 400m, and 800m event.

She has also won the Gold medal at the National Para Athletics Championships 2018 in Panchkula 2018.
