Miscreants Make Attempt To Loot ATM In Koraput

It has come to light that two unidentified offenders made an attempt to loot money from an ATM at Gandhi Chhak in Jeypore in Koraput district last night.

As per sources, customers who had come to draw money found the ATM vandalised and informed the police.

Police and bank officials reached the spot and found the attempt to be a failed one. It was noticed that the cash box was tried to be cut open but the miscreants fled after finding it impossible to break it.

Police contemplate that the loot might have been attempted late in the night. A case has been registered and an investigation is underway.
