Man Held For Stealing Money From The Donation Box At Lingaraj Temple

On Monday, a person was arrested from Kedargouri area in charges of stealing money from the donation box installed at the Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar.

The accused allegedly stole money from the donation box yesterday and fled from the spot. The temple administration filed a complaint with the local police station after the incident.

Police probed into the matter and checked the CCTV surveillance footages of the temple. Thereafter, police nabbed the accused on the basis of the CCTV footage.

A case has been registered while the accused person is in police custody for interrogations.
