Know How Odisha Is Taking Care of The Impoverished – Continued

In continuity with the article, the state government had undertaken lending support to the poor, deprived and stranded persons across Odisha in the wake of Coronavirus outbreak.

The update –

Accommodation and food is provided to approximately 23133 workers from outside Odisha stranded in the state due to lockdown.

The workers who had come to Odisha to fetch work are from Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.

377 quarantine centres with a bed capacity of 32538 have been dedicated by Odisha Govt. exclusively for COVID19 treatment across 114 Urban Local Bodies in the state.

These centres are well equipped with all facilities and dedicated teams to combat any adversity.

Odisha Govt. has also engaged several Odia organisations and distinguished Odia persons to provide all sort of medical and food facilities to Odias stranded in other states due to lockdown.
