Fraudster Baba Held For Molesting A Minor Girl

Cases of exploitation are on rise. A case of black magic has come to light wherein a self-styled Godman in the pretext of sorcery treatment molested a minor girl in Khariar area of Nuapada district today.

The accused has been identified as Basant Kumar Bag of Bhutuapli village under Balangir Sadar police limits.

As per information, he took the minor into a room at his house on the plea of removing the evil spirit from her body but later assaulted her physically.

A case has been registered against the accused and has been forwarded to court with charges under the relevant sections of the IPC and POCSO Act.
