Chairperson Of Selp Help Group Absconds With Over Rs 6 Lakhs

The chairperson of a Self Help Group (SHG) in Kaliabandha Sahi in Jeypore of Koraput district, allegedly fled with an amount over 6 lakhs of rupees collected by the members of the group.The Chairperson has been identified as G Gauri of the same locality.
Reportedly, Gauri created the group gathering 16 women of the locality. The group members had collected over Rs 6 lakhs of sum. However, Gauri tricked and fled with the entire sum of money.

The members made an attempt to search for the accused chairperson but in vain. With no track of the accused, the victims lodged a complaint with the local police about the scandal. The police have registered a case and have started a probe into the case.
