Body of A Woman Found Hanging, Family Claims Death Over Dowry

On Tuesday, a body of a woman was found hanging from the ceiling of her room at Ashutosh Nagar in Bhubaneswar. Family members claim that she was killed by her husband and in-laws over dowry as few days ago when the woman had visited her parents, she had complained of harassment for dowry at the hands of her in-laws. However, the husband has completely denied all allegations and instead claim that she committed suicide over a family feud.

Police have initiated investigation based on the complaint lodged by the family members of the victim and hopefully truth will come to light.
