BMC Imposes Fragmentary Restriction On Local Markets Owing To Coronavirus Outbreak

The scare of coronavirus outbreak and panic state prevailing has propelled Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) to take steps to curb any possibilities of spread.

A fragmentary or partial restriction has been imposed on running local markets in Bhubaneswar as a part of safety measures undertaken by BMC.

As per the imposition, the local markets will operate from 6 am to 6 pm until March 31.

Various squads have been formed to check the situation and any malpractices. The squads have already dispersed to conduct raids at various hotels and guesthouses owing to the implementation of Odisha COVID19 Regulations.
