Bhubaneswar – Varanasi Flight Service To Begin from Jan 31

The daily flight service from Bhubaneswar – Varanasi is scheduled to commence from January 31.

The airline that will operate is Alliance Air owned by Air India. The airline is believed to accommodate 70 seats. The flights are scheduled to depart from Bhubaneswar at 11.15 am and will arrive in Varanasi to 2.05 pm and from Varanasi at 2.30 pm and land at Bhubaneswar airport at 4.20 pm.

The tickets are priced at Rs 3,470 for the initial stage. The news has brought cheers among the people as it will save travelling time to the respective destinations and also attract tourists, students, business community and traders due to the convenience.

Varanasi is a major religious hub in India, gets a lot of religious tourism all year long. Domestic tourists most commonly visit Varanasi for religious purposes while foreign tourist visit for ghats alongside River Ganges and Sarnath.
