After Hacking Wife, Man Committed Suicide

In a tragic incident, a man axed his wife and committed suicide at Barigaon village under Ghasipura police limits in Odisha’s Keonjhar district today.

According to sources, following a family dispute, Nabaghana Sahu had an argument with his wife Manjulata that led him to become violent turn and into a fit of rage he axed his wife leaving her critically injured.

Manjulata was at first rushed to the Anandapur sub-divisional hospital but was later shifted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack after her condition deteriorated. Later on, Nabaghana committed suicide by consuming pesticide.

Nabaghana Sahu was rushed to a hospital where doctor declared him dead while t condition of Manjulata remains critical.
