Achyuta Samanta hosted by Amitabh Bachan on Kaun Banega Crorepati – KBC
Achyuta Samanta, the founder of Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT); Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), which provides free accommodation, food, healthcare, and education from Kindergarten to Post-Graduation was hosted by the legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan on the special Karamveer episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati, Number one reality show in India.
Samanta was joined by “Pink” actress- Tapsee Pannu on the hot-seat as the companion.The episode will be aired on this 15 November 2019 at 9 PM on Sony Entertainment Channel.
Samanta who has been elected as the Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) from Odisha’s Kandhamal District would talk about his childhood struggles and his rise to large scale philanthropy and his tryst with Statemanship.
He was accompanied by his sister, Iti Rani Samanta, a witness to Samanta’s growth from scratch and also shared her experience of childhood.
Samanta won 12.5 lakhs after which the game had to come to an end because of time out buzzer.
He took special “Chenna Poda“, Odisha’s popular dessert for Amitabh Bachchan and the “Saura painting” made by the students of KISS.
This is for the second time he shared the screen with BIG B, earlier on the sets of Banega Swachh India Campaign by NDTV in 2017.
