A girl child was abandoned, in Odisha

In a tragic incident, a newborn girl was left to die at a crematorium in Odisha raising serious questions over the numerous public campaigns taken by to save the girl child.

As per information, the newborn girl was stuffed inside a gunny bag and was abandoned at a crematorium in Aska town of Ganjam district.

Nevertheless, the girl got a new hope of life after a woman hearing the cries of the baby rushed to the spot and rescued her. Later, the newborn was given over to Childline officials in presence of police.
