Modi Government to promote Ayurveda in India and World

Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for AYUSH and Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Shripad Yesso Naik has revealed that the government is making all possible efforts to promote Ayurveda in the country. He was speaking at the Foundation Stone Ceremony for the Hospital Block of Regional Ayurveda Research Institute for Metabolic Disorders (RARIMD) at Bengaluru on 1st April.

The Foundation Stone for the Hospital Block of Regional Ayurveda Research Institute for Metabolic Disorders was laid by the Union Minister for Urban Development, Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation and Parliamentary Affairs M. Venkaiah Naidu and Shripad Yesso Naik at Uttarahalli Manavarthekaval in Bengaluru.

Shripad Naik disclosed that the Government is entering into an agreement with the World Health Organization to popularize Ayurveda across the world. The Goal of achieving healthy population is to be met through AYUSH healthcare system, the AYUSH Minister said.

U. T Khader, Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Government of Karnataka, S. T Somashekar, MLA, Yeshwanthpur Constituency, Arya Srinivas, Corporator, BBMP, Hemmigepura, Dr. Sulochana Bhat, In charge, RARIMAD, Bengaluru and other dignitaries were present during the occasion.
