Kejriwal denied entry into Bisara Village in Dadri, Media Blocked

Kejriwal-BisaraAs the media and politicians added communal colour to the mob lynching in Bisara village in Dadri, where Akhlaq was killed over a stolen calf, the villagers have now taken a stand and blocked the media as well as Netas. Media vehicles were also damaged.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, who went to the village along with other AAP leaders Ashutosh, Sanjay Singh and Kumar Vishwas, were denied entry. The locals also prevented media from entering the village. The AAP volunteers, who had gathered in the morning, were driven out of the village. Kejriwal & Co. were taken to the Guest House. Later, they met the family members of the victim after waiting for two hours.

“What happened in Dadri, is a crime against humanity. Political parties are indulging in vote bank politics by communalise the issue.

Earlier yesterday, Union Culture Minister Mahesh Sharma, who is also the Lok Sabha MP from Gautam Buddh Nagar, visited the area and met the family members of the deceased. He even held a meeting of the villagers inside the temple premises. AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi too visited the village yesterday.

The villagers have alleged that too much media attention and biased reporting as well as the blame game between the country, have brought bad name to their village and disturbed the peace and harmony in the area. Over 50 Muslim families are living in the Hindu-dominated village.
