Death of first Odia COVID-19 victim

Sunanda Panda, a 50-year-old non-resident Odia woman who was residing in New Jersey, USA, died evidently due to COVID-19.

The reports state that she was asymptomatic, until April 6th when she complained of shortness in breathing. Panda was admitted to a hospital in New Jersey, where she was diagnosed with COVID-19. She was then planted with a ventilator. Nevertheless, she breathed her last within hours.

US death caused by the coronavirus pandemic has crossed 10,700, and the total COVID-19 cases have exceeded a quarter-million people. America’s top infectious diseases doctor on the White House task force indicated that America is dubious to go back to a pre-coronavirus normal until therapeutics, served by a vaccine protects the entire population.
