KIIT, Bhubaneswar to offer Internet of Things Course

Bhubaneswar, Oct 3:  KIIT University has joined the list of universities in India offering path breaking course on Internet of Things (IoTs).  There is dire need for training in Internet of Things as industries projecting a demand for 1 million skilled resources in next 5 years.

In order to provide the IoTs courses, KIIT University has tied up with Preva Systems to set up a Centre of Excellence for IoTs. KIIT University with its capacity and reach for research and skill generation along with Preva’s indigenously developed IoT platform and IoT industry experience will have complementary skills to collaborate for setting an IoT center of excellence for skill development which is in line with the national agenda of skill India, a prerequisite for ‘Make in India’ .

The KIIT centre of excellence for IoTs has a state of the art laboratory for developing students with three categories of skill sets in addition to domain knowledge: IoT platform understanding, skill to select the right IoTs device, and skill to deploy in the field.
