Kalinga Lancers beat Dabang Mumbai to clinch maiden HIL Title

Kalinga Lancers defeated Dabang Mumbai 4-1 to win their maiden Hockey India League title in the Hockey India League (HIL) at the Chandigarh Hockey Stadium on Sunday.

Glenn Turner scored the first goal and gave a 2-0 lead to his side. The twin penalty corner conversions from Captain Moritz Furste in the 30th and 59th minutes helped Kalinga Lancers to win their maiden title.

Notably, Dabang Mumbai and Kalinga Lancers entered the finals by winning their respective semi-finals against Delhi Waveriders and Uttar Pradesh Wizards on Saturday.
