India play 500th Test match; Former India Captains felicitated
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday marked India’s 500th Test by felicitating former India Test captains before play started against New Zealand in Kanpur on Thursday.
International Cricket Council (ICC) congratulated BCCI for the Countrie’s 500th Test mach. In this connection, ICC Chief Executive David Richardson presented a silver plate to BCCI to commemorate the occasion at the Green Park Stadium.
On the historic day of India’s 500th Test, Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association president Rajeev Shukla felicitated former captains including Kapil Dev, Sunil Gavaskar, Kris Srikkanth, Ravi Shastri, Mohammad Azharuddin, Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Anil Kumble , Dilip Vengsarkar, Ajit Wadekar and Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
