India beat New Zealand in Kolkata Test, regains No. 1 Spot

Virat KohliIndia beat New Zealand by 178 runs in the second Test at Eden Gardens, win Series 2-0 and dethrone Pakistan as No. 1 Test Team. Chasing a victory target of 376, New Zealand bowled out for 197 in the second innings. They were going strong at 104/1 at one stage.

The Indian spinners Ashwin and Jadeja took 6 wickets, while Shami took 3 wickets. Latham was the only batsman, who showed some resistance. Wriddhiman Saha was declared ‘Man of the Match’.
