Axis-MyIndia Exit Polls predicts landslide victory for BJP in Uttar Pradesh

Modi-BJP-UPThe India Today – Axis My India exit poll has predicted a landslide victory for the BJP in Uttar Pradesh. BJP almost made a jean sweep in 1st, 5th, 6th and 7th phases, the survey says.

As per the exit poll survey, BJP will win 251-279 seats in the 403-member Assembly. Samajwadi Party-Congress alliance may end up at 88-112 seats, while Mayawati’s BSP could win just 28-42 seats. Others may win 6-16 seats.

The Modi mania among the youth may help the BJP sweep the polls, says the survey. On the other hand, Akhilesh could pay a heavy price for aligning with the Congress. Shivpal Yadav has reportedly played the spoilsport by working hard to ensure Akhilesh’s defeat, while Mulayam remained silent.

The exit polls also predicted a clear win for BJP in Uttarakhand and Goa and Congress victory in Punjab and Manipur. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) emerged stronger in UP, but failed beat the Congress, the survey says.

Today’s Chanakya also predicted similar results for BJP in Uttar Pradesh, while TimesNow has predicted an absolute majority for the party. Only ABP News has predicted a hung assembly with BJP being the single largest party.

Axis-My India has been hitting the bull’s eye in its exit poll results over the last few years. They did well in Delhi and predicted accurate results in Bihar.
