Ward Member Candidate shot Dead by Maoists in Malkangiri

After killing eight Jawans in Sunki landmine blast, Maoists killed a ward member Candidate Dasru Dharua in Bara village under Mathili Police Station in Malkangiri late Thursday night.

Earlier, the ultras warned the tribals of Malkangiri district to restrain from Panchayat Polls.

They also threatened that if anybody contests for upcoming Panchay Polls would be sentenced to death and thumbs would be chopped off those who casting their votes.
