Votes cast in 2 Panchayats of Malkangiri Dist after 15 yrs

After a long gape of over 15 years, the people of Maoist infested Malkangiri district casted their votes in the 4th phase of panchayat election today.

People of Marigeta and Badigeta panchayats turned up in large number to exercised their franchise today.

Polling was held in 23 gram panchayats under three ZP zones of Kalimela block during the 4th phase of polling today, informed by the SDPO, Malkangiri, Rahul PR.

Drones have been deployed in several highly sensitive polling booths to conduct aerial surveillance as part of security measures.
