Ratha Yatra 2016: ECoR decides to run 3 Special Trains from Bhawanipatna to Puri

The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to run three special trains from Bhawanipatna in Kalandi district to Puri during a nine-day-long Ratha Yatra festival starting from July 6.

This arrangement has been made by the railway zone to avoid heavy rush of pilgrims during the festival.

With a view to provide more comfortable in journey and to provide more travelling facility to people of interior Odisha, ECoR will run the special trains.

The special trains are Gundicha Yatra Bhawanipatna-Puri-Bhawanipatna Via Sambalpur, Angul (During Gundicha Yatra), Bhawanipatna-Puri-Sambalpur Via Angul (During Bahuda Yatra) and Sambalpur -Puri- Bhawanipatna Via Angul (During Sunavesha) accordingly.
