PM Modi thanks Odisha people for supporting BJP during Panchayat Polls

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday thanked the people of Odisha for their unprecedented support to BJP during the Panchayat Polls in the State.

Addressing an election rally at Kannauj in Uttar Pradesh, PM Modi said, the people of the State have reposed their faith on BJP in the local polls and as a result of which the party has been able to garner massive win.

Modi also congratulated State BJP workers for giving their best efforts in the ongoing Panchayat election.

It may be noted that, in the first-phase of polls, saffron party conquered around 70 of the 188 Zilla Parishad seats however in second phase BJP has won 55 out of total 174 seats.
