OHRC seeks Report on Women’s stole removal incident in Sundargarh

The Odisha Human Rights Commission (OHRC) on Thursday asked the Sundargarh SP to submit a report within four weeks over the removal of black stoles and shawls worn by women at a public meeting addressed by the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in Sundargarh district on Sunday.

Though the Chief Minister asked DGP to probe the matter, earlier on December 6, the Odisha BJP Mahila Morcha had lodged a complaint in OHRC in connection with the incident.
