OHRC seeks report on Sunki Landmine Blast

The Odisha Human Rights Commission (OHRC) today sought reports from Home Department Principal Seccretary & DGP over the landmine blast near Mungarbhumi on Sunki ghat in Koraput district which claimed lives of at least 8 OSAP jawans.

OHRC sought report on how standard operating procedure (SOP) is being followed by police personnel.

On the other hand, a four-member team of Crime Branch headed by DSP PK Mishra visited Koraput to investigation into the incident.

Full state honours given to all martyr OSAP jawans in Koraput yesterday. The mortal remains of all eight Jawans sent to their respective villages in different districts on Friday.
