Odisha to set up 2 more Vigilance Courts in Dhenkanal and Angul

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday announced to set up two more Vigilance Courts in Dhenkanal and Angul soon.

While speaking at the concluding meeting of the Vigilance Week in Bhubaneswar, the Chief Minister said that the State vigilance is actively performing its duty. But to fight against corruption, public participation is highly required.

Highlighting performance of the department, Vigilance Director Rajendra Prasad Sharma said, by September this year the department have registered 449 cases, out of which 64 cases are related to Class-I officers.
