Odisha CM cancels Weekend Holidays of Officials in 15 rain-hit Dists

Insight Bureau:  Keeping in mind to assist the farmers in 15 rain-hit districts, the State Government on Thursday cancelled the upcoming weekend holidays of field officers of Agriculture and Revenue departments.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik ordered the concerned officers to take stock of the situation and assist the farmers to mitigate their problems whose crops are being damaged due to the rains.
