Odisha Assembly Budget Session starts today

The Budget Session of the Odisha Assembly has begun at 11 am today and will be held in two phases till April 7.

Reportedly, the first phase that has begun from today will continue till March 4, and the second phase will commence from March 14 and continue till April 7.

The Annual Budget for 2017-18 is likely to be presented by the Finance Minister Pradip Kumar Amat on February 27.

Security arrangements have been intensified around the Assembly. Over 30 platoons of police forces have been deployed in view of security cover.
