Odia Film Actress Mamina dies at 47

Versatile Odia film actress Mamina Satpathy, better known for her comic roles, died of cardiac arrest at the age of 47. She formed a great pair with comedy legend Jayiram Samal and acted in over 100 films.

Mamina breathed her last at her Cuttack residence. She was unmarried. Her last rites will be performed at Swarg Dwar, Puri tomorrow. Another comic actress Runu Parija had died on October 24, 2014 due to heart attack.

Mamina, whose real name was Jyotsna Satpathy, had been a household name in Odisha. She brought smile and cheers to millions of people through her acting. The Odia Cine industry lost a great actress at her death.
