Nobody is above Law: Dharmendra Pradhan says on Brother’s LPG Agency Raid

A day after Odisha Vigilance conducted raid on petrol pumps and LPG Agency of the Talcher Gas Agency owned by Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s elder brother, Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday said nobody is above law, whosoever he may be. Law will take its own course, if any irregularity will be found.

Under the Essential Commodities Act, States have a right to carry out searches and take action and they did it, Pradhan said.

It is to be noted that, based on the allegation of black-marketing of LPG cylinders by agencies, adulteration of petrol and diesel, State Vigilance conducted raid in various Petrol Pumps across the State including Koraput, Nawarangpur, Puri, Bhubaneswar, Berhampur, Balsore, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Angul, Khurdha and Cuttack.
