Mega Farmers Rally in City on December 14

Over 1 lakh farmers across the State will hold a mass rally in Bhubaneswar on December 14 against injustice to farmers in the State.

Farmers under the banner the Navnirman Krushak Sangathan (NKS) will demand legitimate dues of the farming community like hike in MSP of agricultural produces and social security cover including pension.

The Sangathan also will demand Rs 5,000 monthly pension to farmers as MSP of paddy.

 

While addressing the district-level conclave of farmers on Wednesday, Editor of Sambad Soumya Ranjan Patnaik said farmers have to fight for their right.
