Maoists warn Tribals to abstain from Panchayat Polls

Ahead of Panchayat Elections, the CPI (Maoist) Malkangiri Divisional Committee have warned the tribals of Malkangiri district to restrain from Panchayat Polls.

They also threatened not to apply for candidature and cast vote in the ensuing Panchayat Polls.

In a written letter they warned that if anybody contests for upcoming Panchay Polls would be sentenced to death in People’s Court and thumbs of those casting their votes would be chopped off.

Maoist posters of CPI were also found in Kudumuluguma village in Malkangiri district.
