Jaundice Scare back in Cuttack; 1 died, over 70 affected

Jaundice scare gripped Cuttack city again after over 70 cases of jaundice were reported in the Millennium city.

Reportedly, a total of 76 persons of ward number 8, 9 and 10 have been identified affected with the water-borne disease and admitted to SCB Medical College and Hospital.

Earlier, a woman died due to jaundice in Cuttack city on Friday. The Public Health Department officials have collected water samples and sent them for test.

It is to be noted that, around 50 cases of jaundice were reported in Matha Sahi in Cuttack last month.
