Ganesh Idol Immersion: Situation improves in Soro, Pattamundai, Rourkela

The situation in Soro, Pattamundai and Rourkela returned to normalcy on Friday as all business establishments and educational institutions opened  in the cities.

Section 144 of CrPC was imposed in Soro following severe group clash over Lord Ganesh Idol immersion. However,  it has been relaxed today from 7 am to 7 pm.

Though the situation in Rourkela and Pattamundai in Kendrapara districts is quite improved, the administration has imposed prohibitory order in some parts of the towns to avoid any untoward incident.
