Egg hurled at Minister Snehangini Chhuria in Balangir Dist

Some unidentified persons allegedly hurled eggs to the Textiles and Handicrafts Minister Snehangini Chhuria at Patnagarh in Balangir district today.

The incident occurred when Chhuria was on the way to attend a women empowerment meeting of self-help groups at Patnagarh. In this connection, police have detained a person.

Earlier in September, the Agriculture Minister Pradeep Maharathy also faced similar egg attack during his visit to Bolangir district in September.
