ECoR installs Card swipe Machines at Bhubaneswar Railway Station

To encourage people for digital payment, East Coast Railway (ECoR) on Wednesday introduced card swipe machines at Computerised Reservation Office of Bhubaneswar Railway Station.

In the presence of Khurda Road Divisional Railway Manager Debraj Panda, Chief Commercial Manager  Binayak Prasad Swain and Financial Adviser and Chief Accounts Officer RS Mitra opened the point of sale (POS) machine at the Railway Station for cashless transactions.

With this development, people can now able to swipe their credit or debit cards to pay for tickets. It will decrease dependency on counters to buy reservation or general tickets.
