East Coast Railway (ECoR) bags Best Zonal Shield for Overall Performance

The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has won the Best Zonal Shield for overall performance, known as pandit Govind Ballabh Pant shield. The award was presented to ECoR officials by Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu during the 61st National Railway Week function in Bhubaneswar yesterday.

This year’s Railway Week was dedicated to ECoR. In total, 143 Railway officials and employees were awarded for their outstanding performance. Also, 25 shields were presented to various railway boards and production units for their performance and achievements.

The Railway Ministers asked the Zonal Railways and Board Members to gear up for the challenges of future and deliver their best while being part of the revolution in Railway sector.
