Dipsan Tirkey named Captain of Junior National Hockey Team

Hockey India has announced the junior men’s squad for the EurAsia Cup and a six match tour to the United Kingdom.

The Promising defender and Odisha boy Dipsan Tirkey will lead India Junior Men Squad For EurAsia Cup and England Tour. The Indian team also includes the other defender from Odisha, Nilam Sanjeep Xess.

The EurAsia Cup will be held from July 9 in Yekatarinberg in Russia. While the England tour will be started on July 22.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik was pleased to note that Dipsan Tirkey from Odisha is going to lead the Junior India Men’s Team in the upcoming tour to Europe.
