Death of Birds spark Bird Flu scare in Bhubaneswar

Bird FluAs many as 10 crows were found dead at Nilachakranagar vegetable market of Salia Sahi in Bhubaneswar today morning.

The locals suspected bird flu is the reason behind the deaths as other parts of Odisha including Keranga is reeling under the impact of the virus.

Earlier, on Sunday after two crows were found dead in Keonjhar town and the symptoms of bird flu were observed in Rourkela, blood samples of birds were collected and sent for testing.

Notably, the Khurda district administration resumed the culling of birds at Keranga village for the consecutive sixth day on Monday.
