Cuttack Nagar Congress today staged a protest and shouted slogans in front of his office demanding his resignation. Commissionerate police arrested dozens of agitators to avoid any untoward incident.

Justice Das said that people invested money in various chit fund companies out of greed and the government has nothing to do with it. It is not justified to return money to the victims with interest.

Nagar Congress president Mohammed Moquim said that the statement of Justice Das clearly indicates prejudice. How can the government ensure the chit fund victims a refund under such circumstances? We urge him to give resignation on moral grounds.
