Cold Wave sweeps Odisha, Phulbani Coldest at 4.6 Degrees Celsius

Normal life across Kandhamal district was affected severely  under intense cold wave conditions, as Phulbani recorded 4.6 degree Celsius while Daringibadi in Kandhamal district recorded with a minimum temperature of 4.8 degree Celsius.

The cold wave condition paralysed daily life in various parts of Odisha including, Phulbani, G Udayagiri, Balliguda and Daringbadi area. Due to the Extreme cold condition, people are remained indoor for hours in the morning time.

The MET official said chilly weather is unlikely to witness further three-four days and the extreme temperature will rise after December 23.
