CBI interrogates Odisha Cricketers in age fudging case

A three-member Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team on Wednesday visited the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) office to probe the date of birth proof by junior cricketers in Odisha.

The Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) is in controversy after name of its CEO Bidyut Nayak’s son Subham Nayak surfaced in the age fudging scam.

Subham is allegedly one among the 36 young cricketers, who increased their date of birth to play under-19 cricket matches conducted by OCA as well as BCCI.

The OCA Secretary Asirbad Behera has claimed that the Odisha Cricket Association will not support any wrongdoing.
