BJP gheraoes DGP Office in Cuttack protesting Poll Violence
BJP activists led by Samir Dey gheraoed DGP office in Cuttack protesting against rising number of poll violence cases across the State.
Scuffle ensued between police personnel and BJP workers while trying to gherao DGP office in Cuttack.
Reportedly, many people were killed, several injured as poll related violence continued unabated in different parts of Odisha during the five-phase Three-Tier Panchayat elections.
BJP also allegedly blamed the ruling BJD for killing of Brahmanchhai gram panchayat Sarpanch candidate Bullu Pradhan.
While, BJP State vice-president Sameer Mohanty stated that the Chief Minister’s constituency has not been far from doing violence activities.
