BJP Activists protest over Egg Attack on Lekhashri’s Vehicle; Section 144 Imposed

The Puri district administration on Tuesday clamped prohibitory orders under Section 144 at Pipili market in Puri district as the BJP workers stage demonstration protesting the egg attack on BJP’s State General Secretary Lekhashri Samantasinghar’s van near the Pipli toll gate.

Notably, Lekhashri was attacked with eggs when she was on her way to Dandamukundpur in Puri district to attend a party meeting on Sunday.

As the district administration issued the prohibitory orders in the market from 10 AM to 3 PM on Tuesday, BJP activists organised the protest meeting outside the town near the toll plaza.
