Ace Sprinter Dutee Chand qualifies for Rio Olympics

Odisha Sprinter Dutee Chand on Saturday qualified for Rio Olympics going to be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from Aug 5, 2016.

Dutee Chand qualified for Rio Olympics in the women’s 100m event after meeting the qualification mark at XXVI International Meeting G.Kosanov Memorial in Almaty, Kazakhstan on Saturday.

Dutee clocked 11.30s in the 100m to finish her race.  While Olympics qualifying score stands at 11.32 seconds.

She is the current national champion in women’s 100 metres event.
