76% Voter turnout in 4th Phase Panchayat Polls

At least 76 % voters turned up to exercise their franchise in the fourth phase of the Panchayat Polls across 65 blocks in 28 districts, informed by the State Election Commissioner (SEC) Rabinarayan Senapati.

While Subarnapur district recorded highest with 87 %, Ganjam district registered the lowest with 65 %.

Talking about the 4th phase rural polling, R N Senapati said that the fourth phase panchayat polls ended peacefully across the State today.

Notably, the first phase of panchayat poll recorded 71 % turnout, while the second phase recorded 73 % and third phase recorded 75 %.
